Indianapolis, In (May 14, 2010) -
If the month of May wasn't special enough, May of 2010 is undoubtedly the most
special for Vision Racing. By now, you know our plight, spawning from the
announcement in January regarding a lack of secured sponsorship to go racing
full-time in the IZOD IndyCar Series during the 2010 season. And by now you
know that we've got enough in the coffers, thanks the support of our fans, our
community and partners like Fuzzzy's Ultra Premium Vodka and SONAX, to at least
make a run at the greatest race in the world and for the greatest trophy in all
of sport.
So it won't be long until you can
expect your Twitter streams to be filled with our random tweets and our
infamous Facebook photo albums reappear on your news feed, but as aforementioned,
those activities are expected. This is a very special month for us, and we owe
something unexpected to our fans for making it possible. Ironically, it is one
of our fans that will be helping us deliver a little something more than
expected, back to our fans, during our stay at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway
over the next couple of weeks. Meet Charles West, passionate IZOD IndyCar
Series enthusiast, avid Vision Racing fan, former major airline employee, keen
writer and now guest Vision Racing blogger this May. Charles has joined our
team to provide our fans with a fun, outsider perspective (or vision) with
regard to what's happening on the inside.
