A 2005 graduate of Purdue University, Ryan Liddy is actually a certified motorcycle mechanic and worked on bikes before joining Vision Racing in 2007. Since joining the team his specialty has been preparing dampers for the team’s No. 20 car; keeping Ed Carpenter’s ride around the track nice and smooth.
Assisting the inside front tire changer, Dan Rushing, with the collection of the front Firestone Firehawk tire is where you can find Liddy during a pit stop.
When not at the track, Liddy also likes to take his dirt bike, a KTM, out for a spin, as well as hang with his Pug Mia Wallace Liddy, named after the Pulp Fiction character. Otherwise you’ll find Liddy hitting the golf course or strolling Broadripple Ave. on a non-race weekend.
